An important component of DDD is our commitment to knowledge sharing. By developing and/or featuring case studies, leadership briefs, papers, articles, speeches, e-newsletters and events:

• We showcase Canada’s efforts to promote democratic development around the world;
  
• We increase awareness among Canadians of the opportunities to share their expertise abroad for the benefit of developing countries and countries in transition;
  
• We contribute to the body of knowledge on democratic development; and
  
• We nurture a community of practice on democratic development.
