Deployment for Democratic Development

DDD by Region/Country

Deployment for Democratic Development (DDD) recruits and sends Canadian democratic development experts to Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East in response to requests for assistance from CIDA partner countries.

Since its launch in 2007, DDD has responded to over 70 initiatives in different countries around the world:

In Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Guyana, Jordan, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan and Tanzania
In the Americas: Bolivia, Cuba, El Salvador, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica and Peru
In Asia: Bangladesh, Indonesia
In Europe: Armenia, Ukraine
In the Middle East: Jordan
